Launch from the Red Frog Marina on an water exploration through the network of mangrove eco-systems. The calm water is perfect for beginner kayakers. $15/4 hrs.
Boat Tours
A boat tour is one of the best ways to see Bocas del Toro unique island features. Tours run daily, weather permitting: 1) Cave Tour – Four hour tour up an inland river to see local island habitat and caves. 2) Zapatilla Keys Tour – Journey out to paradisiacal islands to snorkel and eat at a Bora Bora styled restaurant. 3) Starfish Beach - Boca del Drago y Isla Pagaro 4) Fishing tours $250/half day.
Catamaran Cruise (*RSVP event)
Take an evening cruise on a luxurious sailing Catamaran. Light refreshments provided. $40/per person. If you have never sailed on a Catamaran before, Bocas is one of the best places on earth to try it.
Beach Party @ Punta Lava Beach
On select nights during the month we have a party with a wide variety of themes. From bikini contests to live music or a laid back beach bonfire – Punta Lava is open late and the island vibe is free! Expect to meet other tourists and locals from all over Bocas del Toro at this event. From 9:00pm to 2:00am.
Punta Lava Dinner on Red Frog Beach (*RSVP event)
A private dinner on the beach…this is an experience you do not want to miss! Dine on the beach and enjoy resort favorites such as: Sweet Caribbean Chili BBQ Chicken with Coconut Rice or Spice Rubbed Mahi Mahi with Grilled Pineapple & Rum-Ginger Sauce. Price: Approximately $18 to $26/pp. Punta Lava is open Daily from 11.30am to 6.30pm for lunch and drinks.
Kayukos Restaurant & Lounge
Restaurant open daily from 7.30am to 10.00pm; bar open to 2am on select nights. Affordable menu items such as island pizza and Panamanian rice and beans. Lookout for the daily specials. Small store to buy food items and beverages.
Saturday Afternoon Beach BBQ – Live Music!
Put away your stress and get over to Red Frog Beach on Sunday afternoons for a lunch special, good music and perfect scenery. Unwind, relax and watch the beach.
ZIPLINE TOUR
Don’t miss the best zipline in Panama! several tours every day, leaving from Kayukos (zipline is currently closed being upgraded and will reopen in December 2012).
